18.5V 5000mAh 5S LiPo Battery 35C, 4mm Plug
• Specifications: 140 × 43 × 43mm / 5.5 × 1.72 × 1.72in; 539g / 19.01oz; 5000mAh; 18.5V (5S LiPo); 35C continuous discharge; 4mm Bullet plug.
• Designed for Mid-to-Large Scale RC Aircraft & F3A Competition: This 5S 5000mAh LiPo battery delivers sustained 35C discharge with stable voltage under heavy load — built for F3A aerobatic competition, mid-to-large fixed-wing planes (700mm–1200mm wingspan), 450/550-class RC helicopters, medium gliders, and EDF jets. The 5000mAh capacity gives you roughly 14% longer flight time over a 4400mAh pack in the same form factor.
• Compatible Models: 5S fixed-wing RC planes (including F3A competition aircraft), 450/550-size RC helicopters, EDF jets, and medium gliders with a 4mm Bullet connector. Check your model's manual for recommended battery dimensions before ordering.
⚠️ Before Ordering — Verify 2 Things:
• 1) Your aircraft's battery bay fits 140 × 43 × 43mm (including 4mm Bullet plug clearance).
• 2) The battery plug is 4mm Bullet (two 4mm banana-style pins). If either doesn't match, this pack will not fit.
• Package: 2× PCEONAMP 5S 5000mAh 18.5V 35C LiPo battery (4mm Bullet plug), 1× storage box, 1× user manual.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is this battery compatible with my RC plane or helicopter?
Yes, if your aircraft uses a 5S (18.5V) battery with a 4mm Bullet plug and the battery bay fits 140 × 43 × 43mm. Specifically designed for F3A aerobatic competition, mid-to-large fixed-wing RC planes (700mm–1200mm wingspan), 450 and 550-class RC helicopters, medium gliders, and EDF (ducted-fan) jets. Verify voltage, bay dimensions, and plug type before ordering.
What is a 4mm Bullet plug? Is it the same as XT60, Deans T, or IC3?
No. The 4mm Bullet plug uses two 4mm banana-style pins (typically red and black). It is NOT interchangeable with XT60 (two-pin with center tab), Deans T (T-shaped), IC3 (three-pin), or XT30. Check your aircraft’s original connector or manual to confirm it is a 4mm Bullet before ordering.
How is this battery used in F3A competition?
In F3A aerobatic competition, two of these 5S 5000mAh packs are wired in series (5S + 5S = 10S / 33V) to provide the voltage and sustained current that competition-scale EDF and high-speed fixed-wing aircraft require. The 10S configuration delivers approximately 175A continuous (5000mAh × 35C) with the headroom for full-throttle pull-ups, loops, and 6G maneuvers. Always charge both packs individually before wiring them in series, and use a 10S-capable discharge monitor in flight.
Can I charge this with a standard LiPo balance charger?
Yes. This is a genuine 5S LiPo battery. It charges via the JST-XH balance lead using a standard 5S LiPo balance charger. Recommended charge rate: 1C (5A) for daily use, up to 2C (10A) for quick turnaround between F3A runs. The 10AWG leads handle the current comfortably. Always charge on a fireproof surface and never leave unattended.
How long does it take to fully charge?
At 1C (5A), approximately 60 minutes. At 2C (10A), approximately 30 minutes. Use a charger rated for 5S (up to 21.0V). Do not use a Li-ion USB charger or a balance charger set to fewer than 5 cells.
What does 35C discharge mean? Can I push it harder for short bursts?
35C means this pack safely sustains approximately 175A continuous (5000mAh × 35C). Most quality LiPo packs tolerate short 3–5 second bursts at 1.5–2× the C rating (up to ~260–350A) for aggressive takeoff or full-throttle pull-ups. In F3A, where sustained high-G maneuvers draw heavy current, we recommend staying at or below 35C continuous to protect cell health across a full competition day.
How many charge cycles can I expect?
Under normal use with proper practices (avoid deep discharge below 16.5V, store at 40–60% charge), expect up to 350 cycles before noticeable capacity fade. In competition use where packs are charged and discharged multiple times per day, capacity fade may arrive sooner — plan on replacing packs every 80–120 heavy-use cycles.
Can I use this battery outside of F3A, on a regular 5S fixed-wing or 450 heli?
Yes. As a single 5S pack, it works well on mid-to-large 5S fixed-wing planes (700mm–1200mm wingspan), 450 and 550-class helicopters, medium gliders, and EDF jets with a 4mm Bullet connector. You simply don’t need the second pack in series for non-competition use.
