Frequently Asked Questions

What drone platforms does this 6S2P 21700 battery fit?

At 75 × 38 × 41mm and 231g, this pack fits 10" long-range and cinematic FPV frames, as well as light survey, mapping, and inspection multirotors. The XT60 plug connects directly to standard 6S ESCs — no adapter needed.

Before ordering, verify three things:

  • Battery bay clearance: at least 75 × 38 × 41mm
  • Connector: XT60 on your ESC
  • Voltage: your ESC is rated for 6S 22.2V (25.2V max input)

What does 6S2P mean, and how is it different from a “regular” 6S pack?

6S2P means 6 cells in series (voltage) × 2 cells in parallel (capacity). This gives you:

  • Voltage: 6S = 22.2V nominal (same as any 6S pack)
  • Capacity: 2 parallel cells doubles the capacity to 10000mAh
  • Current capability: each cell only needs to supply half the total current, which reduces heat and extends cell life under load

Practically, 6S2P gives you longer flight time than a 6S1P pack of the same voltage, with better sustained current delivery. The voltage and charger compatibility are identical to a standard 6S — you use a normal 6S 25.2V charger.

Why 21700 cells instead of 18650?

Each 21700 cell holds approximately 5000mAh in a 21mm × 70mm body. Compared to 18650 cells (18mm × 65mm, ~3000–3500mAh each):

  • More capacity per cell → 21700 reaches 10000mAh with fewer total cells
  • Larger surface area → better heat dissipation under sustained load
  • Higher energy density → 231g for 10000mAh vs. a heavier 18650-based pack of the same capacity

The result: more flight time per gram, which matters on FPV and long-range builds where every gram counts.

What are the recommended charge settings?

  • Charger mode: 6S Li-ion (25.2V max, 4.20V/cell)
  • Charge rate: 1C (10A) for daily use; 2C (20A) maximum for quick turnaround
  • Balance voltage: 4.20V/cell (standard Li-ion, NOT HV)
  • Discharge cutoff: 3.30V/cell minimum — do not discharge below this

At 1C (10A), a full charge from empty takes approximately 55–65 minutes. Avoid sustained 3C+ charging — it accelerates cell aging and shortens total cycle life.

How long will it last in flight on a 10" FPV build?

With 223Wh of energy and 15C (150A) continuous capability, this pack is well-matched to 10" long-range and cinematic FPV builds (typically 2.5–4.5kg AUW with a 300–600KV motor and 10×4.5 or 10×4.3 prop setup).

Estimated endurance: 20–35 minutes of continuous flight, depending on:

  • Throttle profile: steady 60–70% cruise (long-range) will trend toward 30–35 min; frequent punch-outs and hard turns will drop it to 20–25 min
  • Payload weight: a lightweight FPV camera + VTX (80–120g) favors the upper end; a gimbal camera or additional gear pushes toward the lower end
  • Wind and altitude: headwind and high altitude increase current draw and reduce flight time

150A continuous is more than sufficient for a 10" build — most 10" 4S/6S quads draw 40–80A sustained even at full throttle. The 15C rating gives you a large safety margin, meaning the cells will run cooler and last longer in the long term.

Treat these as planning estimates — actual flight time varies with your specific motor, prop, and ESC configuration.

What’s in the box? Can I use a different connector?

  • 1× PCEONAMP 22.2V 10000mAh 6S2P 21700 Li-ion battery (Model: XY100156XT), XT60 plug pre-soldered
  • 1× JST-XH 7-pin balance lead

The XT60 plug is factory-soldered to 10AWG silicone power leads. If your ESC uses a different connector (Deans, XT30, Anderson, etc.):

  1. Use an XT60-to-X adapter (simplest, no soldering)
  2. Cut the XT60 and re-solder your preferred connector — 10AWG gauge supports ~150A sustained, which matches the 15C rating

If you’re not comfortable soldering, an adapter is the safe route.
