7.4V 1150mAh 2S LiPo Battery 40C PH2.0
• Specifications: 54 × 29 × 18mm / 2.10 × 1.14 × 0.69in; 52g / 1.83oz; 1150mAh; 7.4V (2S LiPo); 40C burst / 20C continuous discharge; PH2.0 plug.
• Designed for AXIAL SCX24 Burst: This 2S 1150mAh LiPo battery is a direct replacement for the stock battery in the AXIAL SCX24 Burst, a 1/24-scale RC rock crawler. The 40C burst rating (~46A peak) and 20C continuous rating (~23A sustained) handle aggressive climbs, rock crawling, and full-throttle throttle without voltage sag.
• Compatible Models: AXIAL SCX24 Burst and other 1/24-scale RC crawlers that use a 7.4V 2S LiPo pack with a PH2.0 connector. Not suitable for 1/18 or 1/10 scale vehicles — the voltage, dimensions, and plug type do not match.
⚠️ Before Ordering — Verify 2 Things:
• 1) Your RC car's battery bay fits 54 × 29 × 18mm (including PH2.0 plug clearance).
• 2) The battery plug is PH2.0 (two-pin, 2.0mm pitch). If either doesn't match, this pack will not fit without an adapter.
• Package: 2× 2S 1150mAh 7.4V 40C LiPo batteries (PH2.0 plug), 1× USB charger cable, 1× carton, 1× user manual.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is this battery compatible with the AXIAL SCX24?
Yes. This 2S 1150mAh 7.4V LiPo battery is a direct replacement for the stock battery in the AXIAL SCX24 (1/24-scale RC rock crawler). The 7.4V voltage, PH2.0 plug, and 54 × 29 × 18mm dimensions are all designed to match the SCX24’s battery bay. No modification needed.
Can I use this battery in other RC cars?
Yes, if the vehicle uses a 7.4V (2S) LiPo battery with a PH2.0 connector and the battery bay fits 54 × 29 × 18mm. It works with other 1/24-scale or smaller RC toy crawlers and buggies. It is NOT suitable for 1/18 or 1/10 scale vehicles — the dimensions, voltage, and plug pitch do not match.
What is a PH2.0 plug? Is it the same as PH2.54, JST-XH, or XT30?
No. PH2.0 uses a two-pin connector with a 2.0mm pin pitch (narrow spacing). It is NOT interchangeable with PH2.54 (wider pitch), JST-XH (larger), XT30 (two-pin with different housing), or any other plug type. Measure the pin spacing on your car’s existing battery or check the manual to confirm it is 2.0mm before ordering.
What does 40C / 20C mean for this battery?
40C burst means the pack can safely deliver approximately 46A for short durations (3–5 seconds) during aggressive climbs or full-throttle bursts. 20C continuous means it safely sustains approximately 23A during normal driving and crawling. For 1/24-scale RC cars, this comfortably covers the draw of typical 7.4V toy-grade ESCs and motors.
How do I charge this battery?
This pack includes a USB charger cable. Plug one end into a USB power source (wall adapter, power bank, or PC USB port rated 5V / 1A minimum) and the other into the car’s charging port or directly into the battery’s PH2.0 plug. Full charge at 1C (~1.15A) takes approximately 60 minutes. Do not leave unattended while charging.
How many charge cycles can I expect?
Under normal use with proper practices (avoid deep discharge below 6.0V, store at 40–60% charge), expect up to 200 cycles before noticeable capacity fade. For daily toy use, this translates to roughly 6–12 months of regular play. If your pack is still holding charge past 150 cycles, it is performing within spec.
The car stopped running after a few minutes. Is the battery defective?
Not necessarily. A 1150mAh 2S pack at 20C continuous (~23A) will last roughly 5–15 minutes of mixed driving depending on terrain, motor load, and throttle usage. On flat ground with moderate throttle, expect the longer end; on continuous rock crawling or full-throttle on sand, expect the shorter end. If the pack drains in under 3 minutes consistently, contact us for a warranty check.
Can I charge this with a LiPo balance charger instead of the USB cable?
This is a 2S toy-grade LiPo pack with a PH2.0 plug, not a balance-lead LiPo battery. It is designed to be charged via the included USB charger cable. Using a standard 2S LiPo balance charger (with JST-XH or XT60 leads) will not fit the PH2.0 connector. Stick with the included USB charging method.
Is it safe to leave the battery in the car when not in use?
For short periods (same day), yes. For overnight or longer storage, remove the battery from the car and store it at 40–60% charge in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Do not store fully charged or fully drained for extended periods — both accelerate capacity fade.
